agreement

(noun) an arrangement, a promise or a contract made with somebody
Example: According to the agreement, the caterer will also supply the flowers for the event


establish

(verb) to start or create an organization, a system, etc. that is meant to last for a long time
Example: The merger of the two company established a powerful new corporation


submit

(verb) to give a document, proposal, etc. to somebody in authority so that they can study or consider it
Example: Submit your résumé to the human resources department


appeal

(noun) a deeply felt request for money, help or information that is needed immediately, especially one made by a charity or by the police
Example: A restaurant with good food and reasonable prices has a lot of appeal


mission

(noun) an important official job that a person or group of people is given to do, especially when they are sent to another country
Example: The nurse explained that the mission of everyone in the unit was to make sure the patients got well as soon as possible


international

(adjective) connected with or involving two or more countries
Example: Jane is joining an international camp with 30 students from different countries.

(noun) a situation in which people, groups or countries disagree strongly or are involved in a serious argument
Example: When conflicts do happen, we work together to find the solutions.


symbol

(noun) a person, an object, an event, etc. that represents a more general quality or situation
Example: Mount Fuji is seen as the symbol of Japan.

(noun) something that you are trying to achieve
Example: The main objective of this meeting is to give more information on our plans.


Headquarters
Headquarters /ˈhedkwɔːrtərz/
(noun) a place from which an organization or a military operation is controlled; the people who work there
Example: I have to make a call to headquarters before we get down to business


enforce
enforce /ɪnˈfɔːrs/
(verb) to make sure that people obey a particular law or rule
Example: It's the job of the police to enforce the law.


initiate

(verb) to make something begin
Example: The program was initiated by the state government.


livelihood

(noun) a means of earning money in order to live
