(noun) the feeling that you can trust, believe in and be sure about the abilities or good qualities of somebody/something
Example: Good applicants show confidence during an interview


attitude
attitude /ˈætɪtuːd/
(noun) the way that you think and feel about somebody/something; the way that you behave towards somebody/something that shows how you think and feel
Example: Each investor should assess his or her own attitude toward investment


scream

(verb) to give a loud, high shout, because you are hurt, frightened, excited, etc.
Example: Passengers screamed when the car crashed into a motorbike.


embarrassing
embarrassing /ɪmˈbærəsɪŋ/
(adjective) making you feel shy, uncomfortable or ashamed
Example: One of my most embarrassing experiences was to forget my daughter's name at her wedding.


affect
affect /əˈfekt/
(verb) to produce a change in somebody/something
Example: The divorce affected every aspect of her life.


appreciate
appreciate /əˈpriːʃieɪt/
(verb) to recognize the good qualities of somebody/something
Example: We would appreciate you letting us know of any problems.


embrace
embrace /ɪmˈbreɪs/
(noun) an act of putting your arms around somebody as a sign of love or friendship
Example: His colleagues embraced his proposals.


outlook
outlook /ˈaʊtlʊk/
(noun) the attitude to life and the world of a particular person, group or culture
Example: His outlook on this issue is quite subjective. He ignores his employees' needs.

Example: My biggest dream was a red hat - a floppy cotton hat like the one my favourite pop star wore in her video clip.

Example: The girl was so shy that she didn't look him in the eye. She just glanced at him and looked away

Example: She complains noisily about anything she doesn't like. She is the type of person who is always making a fuss.


memorable

(adjective) worth remembering or easy to remember, especially because of being special or unusual
Example: My 21st birthday was memorable because my sweetheart proposed to me.


sneaky
sneaky /ˈsniːki/
(adjective) behaving in a secret and sometimes dishonest or unpleasant way
Example: The pickpocket gave a sneaky look at her handbag.
