helicopter

(noun) an aircraft without wings that has large blades (= long flat parts) on top that go round. It can fly straight up from the ground and can also stay in one position in the air.
Example: He knows how to fly a helicopter.

(noun) a woman who invites guests to a meal, a party, etc.; a woman who has people staying at her home

(noun) a sweet mixture of sugar and water, milk, butter or egg white that is used to cover and decorate cakes
Example: There is a thick chocolate icing on the birthday cake.

(noun) 31 December, especially the evening of that day
Example: All the members of our family gather on New Year's Eve.
