Example: It's very rare to find these birds in England in winter.


romantic

(adjective) connected with or about love or a sexual relationship

(noun) a thing that you give to somebody, especially on a special occasion or to say thank you

(verb) to say or do something that makes somebody stop what they are saying or doing

(adjective) behaving in a sensible way, like an adult
Example: She is mature enough to make her own decision.

(adjective) determined to be successful, rich, powerful, etc.

(noun) a written record of your education and the jobs you have done that you send when you are applying for a job
Example: Applicants interested in applying for the position should submit their curriculum vitae to the Human Resources Department no later than February 15.


diploma

(noun) a course of study at a college or university
Example: My brother has got a diploma in business studies.


humane
humane /hjuːˈmeɪn/
(adjective) being kind towards people and animals by making sure that they do not suffer more than is necessary
Example: She treats animals in a humane way.


humanitarian
humanitarian /hjuːˌmænɪˈteriən/
(adjective) connected with helping people who are suffering and improving the conditions that they are living in
Example: The prisoner has been released for humanitarian reasons.


tragic
tragic /ˈtrædʒɪk/
(adjective) making you feel very sad, usually because somebody has died or suffered a lot
Example: It is tragic that the theatre has had to close.
